Why Visit

Despite the internet age exhibitions remain an extremely important platform to obtain information, evaluate different options and get to touch and feel products and services. And this applies even more pertinently to an industrial show, where complexities of products can be explained and demonstrated.

One of the key focus areas this year is going to be on energy – that includes electricity savings, standby generation and alternative power sources. In this time of load-shedding it’s paramount that industry really understands how they can minimise the negative impact of power outages.

In addition to the static displays there will be a dedicated speakers’ area where daily presentations on a host of interesting topics will take place. More details on the topics will be placed on this website in due course.

The demonstration area has become increasingly popular. It’s the perfect zone for machinery demonstrations and also for prospects to get hands-on practical use of a tool or piece of equipment.

Another innovation this year is the plan to work to bring in as many foreign buyers as possible. Cape Town is seen as the gateway to Africa and its port makes exports to other African countries easy. A Business Centre will be set-up where foreign business people will be able to meet with local exhibitors for one-on-one meetings.

The show, encompassing more than x 4 200m2 of space, attracts exhibitors from a host of industry sectors; a list that’s too numerous to mention apart from the fact that if it’s a product or service used in industry you’ll find it at the Showcase.

The 2018 Showcase promises to be bigger than ever with a number of new and innovative exhibitors. We will be updating the website on a regular basis to provide more information on what exhibitors and visitors can expect.
